Avidity is a relaxed boutique salon located along Beaconsfield Parade, Albert Park. With panoramic bay views and elegant surroundings, its clientele can enjoy a unique and uplifting salon experience. Our expert hair stylists and make up artists are dedicated to providing a high level of service and customer care, alongside in-depth look consultations, professional cut and colour, special occasion styling, colour correction, hair treatments, as well as hairstyling workshops and events.

A salon with a difference:Avidity is Australia's first social enterprise hair and make up salon. As a social enterprise, we trade for a social purpose and all surpluses generated through the sales of our services are reinvested back into community programs. These programs seek to address the agenda of social inclusion through a holistic approach, in particular through the provision of accessible education and training.So by selecting us to care for your hair, you will be helping to make such programs possible.

Avidity uses Schwarzkopf Professional Products and Napoleon Perdis Make Up.

I went to Avidity for the first time last Friday and absolutely loved the whole experience! The view, the staff, the prices, the concept! So unique and totally outstanding. My stylist Nathaniel did an AMAZING job, I absolutely love my new fringe and layers. I have been recommending Avidity to all my friends, and can't wait to come back again soon!

After moving to back to Australia after six years abroad I was really worried about finding a hair salon that would listen to me and also offer me advice on what suits me. A friend recommended Avidity and I'm so grateful. Phoebe gave me a great initial consultation, a brilliant cut and colour, not to mention one of those head massages we all love whilst getting our hair washed! The view of the bay is spectacular and the atmosphere in the salon was relaxed yet friendly. I'm very much looking forward to my second visit.

Attended the Napoleon Perdis Masterclass at Avidity last week - it was fantastic. Picked up great tips on the latest spring fashion trends and learnt to do a smokey eye. Highly recommend it!

I went to Avidity for the first time last week and I was blown away. The salon itself is so beautiful, it is all newly renovated and the outlook over the beach is stunning. Phoebe gave me the best cut and colour I have ever received and I left feeling relaxed and beautiful! Thanks Phoebe - I will definitely be back and I will definitely be telling all of my friends and family about Avidity and their great initiative as a social enterprise salon! :-)

Phoebe’s passion for hair, fashion and life is evident in everything she does. Equipped with over 7 years of professional hairdressing experience, Phoebe is dedicated to delivering exceptional service, providing each client with a customized look on the forefront of hair fashion. She has trained and worked for one of Australia’s top salons, Rokk Ebony, and has successfully operated her own freelance hairdressing business. Phoebe is excited to bring with her many loyal clients, “I am so excited that I can now offer my services to new and existing clients, within a beautiful salon setting that is Avidity.”

In recent years, Phoebe has showcased her craft on stage at HBIA and IHS competitions, and was named a finalist in Paul Mitchell’s Emerging Artist Awards for a hairstyle she personally created. Phoebe is committed to professional development in the hairdressing field, and as such, she continues to undertake further training enabling her to evolve personally, creatively and technically.

Refreshingly honest and sensitive to her clients’ needs and expectations, Phoebe’s approach to hairdressing is simple – to create an experience focused on individually tailored styles with a commitment to outstanding personal service, treatments and products. “I truly believe that a thorough personal consultation is the key to achieving the perfect look.
